This system consists of approximately 75 miles of gravity sanitary sewer lines ranging in diameter from 6 inch to 36 inch. The sewers are located primarily in Town streets and State roadways but some are within sewer easements that are considered part of the collection system. This system also consists of force mains connecting the pumping stations to the collection system. In addition, there are several sections of Town served by low pressure sewers. They consist of 1.5-4 inch diameter force mains that receive flows from individual grinder pumps located on private properties. |
