The work includes Regulated material removal, demolition of the Radisson Hotel, former bank building, water tower, maintenance building, HMS Host building, clock building, other facilities near the water tower, relocation of the engineering modulars, re-alignment and increasing the number of northbound lanes from the airport parking garage to the north entrance, shifting and increasing the number of southbound lanes north of S. 170th Street, a new southbound off-ramp to S. 170th Street to replace the Air Cargo Rd. off-ramp, widening of the southbound entrance to the lower drive from one lane to two lanes, a new return-to-terminal loop ramp on a cast-in-place bridge just south of the existing S. 160th Street bridge, a 2-span bridge over S. 170th Street, a 1-span bridge over the north electrical substation, retaining walls, relocation of portions of 12 inch and 24 inch water lines crossing the North Airport Expressway (NAE), utilities, drainage, illumination, signing, intelligent transportation systems, traffic safety and control devices, landscaping, irrigation, and temporary detour routes. |
