The abbreviated Summary of Work is as follows: Project A: KINSOLVING HALL KITCHEN & ONE-STORY CONNECTORS ROOF REPLACEMENTS, Kinsolving Dormitory (KIN) Re-roofing of roofs over Kinsolving Hall kitchen, mechanical penthouse adjacent to kitchen roof, and roofs of one-story connectors between kitchen roof and north and south towers. The work includes removal of existing roofing membranes, temporary removal and reinstallation of rooftop equipment to allow for re-roofing operations, preparation of decks to receive new membrane roofing systems, installation of new through-wall flashing including masonry removal and installation, new roof drains, new sheet metal flashing, edge trim, scuppers, gutters, downspouts and collection heads, sealant re-pointing of stone parapet caps, and installation of coal-tar elastomeric membrane roofing system installed over area shown as Project A on drawings. Project B: KINSOLVING HALL NORTH & SOUTH TOWER ROOF REPLACEMENTS, Kinsolving Dormitory (KIN) Re-roofing of roofs at Kinsolving Hall over north and south towers, and penthouses on top of north and south towers. The work includes removal of existing roofing membranes, temporary removal and reinstallation of rooftop equipment to allow for re-roofing operations, preparation of decks to receive new membrane roofing systems, installation of new through-wall flashing including masonry removal and installation, new roof drains, new sheet metal flashing, edge trim, scuppers, gutters, downspouts and collection heads, sealant re-pointing of stone parapet caps, and installation of new modified bituminous membrane roofing system installed. Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for MARCH 28, 2006 at 1:00 PM in Room 2.102. (located on the second floor of Physical Plant Building 1 at Dean Keaton @ Lafayette in Austin, Texas). |
