This project provides for renovations to existing City building and on-going issues associated with hazardous materials and/or building code compliance. The City of Richmond desired to make structural repairs to three parking decks, located at City Hall, the 3rd Precinct Police Station and the Police Academy. The parking deck at City Hall is a cast-in place concrete structure with isolated areas of surface spalling and exposed reinforcing steel. The parking decks at the 3rd Precinct Police Station and the Police Academy are prestressed concrete structures with deck joint failures. The Police Academy parking deck also has cracking and surface spalls. |
