In general the work consists of firstly, the complete removal of the existing boiler make-up water treatment system which consists of softener, dealkalizer, and sand filter equipment and associated piping, electrical and controls materials as detailed on drawings; and secondly, the installation of new softening equipment, reverse osmosis equipment and carbon filter with associated piping, electrical and controls. A pre-bid tour of the project site is scheduled for March 8th, 2006 at 10:00am. The meeting place will be the UW Stout Central Heating Plant. |
