The Traffic Engineering Building is a multi-level structure with one primary roof system, which is a single ply, Thermoplastic membrane recovery system installed over a 4 Ply, Coal Tar Built-up Roof System.The work includes removal and safe disposal of existing ballast, Thermoplastic Membrane, .5” layer of wood fiber, coal tar and gravel surface, 4 ply coal tar built-up roof system, and 1.5 fiberglass roof insulation from existing metal deck; repair/replacement of existing metal decking; and installation of new 30 to 40 year roofing system. |
