The contract consists of maintenance dredging of 33 foot authorized project channel of the Schuylkill River from Station 0+600 to Station 20+000. Dredging will be performed to a depth of 33 feet mean lower low water (MLLW) plus 1 foot allowable over depth limited by a vertical plane through the required depth contour. No side or end slopes will be specified and/or paid for along both channel edges (box cut). Hydraulic pipeline, hopper and bucket dredging will be permitted under this contract. |
