Contract will be to provide, install, and connect electrical equipment, devices, and materials to upgrade existing spillway gate hoist motor control including gate position sensing and indication. Work will include (but is not limited to): 1. Provide and connect cables to connect existing push-buttons to existing relay controls. Work will include modifying the existing (two) motor control centers (MCC). 2. Lay out and fabricate two programmable logic controller (PLC) equipment cabinets. 3. Lay out and fabricate distributed I/O control cabinet. 4. Provide eight encoders and connect to two PLC. 5. Provide and connect fiber optic cables to fiber optic-Ethernet switches and existing site fiber optic patch panels. 6. Test and calibrate of positioning devices. 7. Disconnect and remove existing relays, cables, and devices removed from service. |
