The bulkhead crane at Greenup Locks and Dam, Greenup, Kentucky, experienced a failure in the hoist machinery drive and has been mostly disassembled. The contract will consist of furnishing materials and labor for the repair, refurbishment, disassembly, reassembly, testing, cleaning and painting; of the bulkhead crane and accessories. Some parts from the existing crane shall be reused whereas other parts shall be fabricated. The bulkhead crane and associated lifting beam in their disassembled state shall be cleaned and painted prior to reassembly. |
