Contractor will be required to furnish and install two 4160 V feeder cables from switchgear equipment in the powerhouse for approx. 800 ft horizontally at Elev 990, then up 4 conduit embedded in concrete to Elev 1580 near the top of the dam, one at a time. The cable tray and conduit for the first cable is empty except for an existing pull rope; the second cable will require removal and replacement of existing cable. The ends will be terminated on the proper electrical switch gear equipment. The powerhouse cable will be 3/C 4/0 AWG Armored Copper a nd the vertical run in the dam structure will be 3 1/C 350KCMIL Aluminum. |
