The principal features of the work include the following: 1. Fabricate and install a structural steel support frame assembly. 2. Drive sheet piling cover and bolt piling to frames. (Installed assembly will measure about 38 feet wide by 30 feet high.) 3. Place grouted fabric forms or other approved method to seal cofferdam assembly. 4. Inspect and seal remaining leaks as necessary. 5. Dewater 9-foot tunnel fore bay behind the cofferdam. 6. After completion of intake entrance repairs by a separate contract, the Contractor shall remove cofferdam assembly and deliver to the Government for storage. |
