The work under this Contract includes: Demolition of the south end of an existing light frame 15,200 SF steel structure. Construction of new airport terminal gate comprising of new steel entry structure, lights, painting, concrete slab, storefront windows, parapet, metal siding and coping, and a small area of roofing. Partial demolition of 1,600 SF steel frame walkway with associated electrical components. Repair and repaint of walkway steel structure, and replacement of approx 230 SF walkway metal roof. Removal of rust and repainting of exterior steel stair structure. Removal of concrete planter and construction of new planter end section. Removal and capping of existing fire hydrant and water line and building fire suppression system. Modify existing sewer, storm, water, and electrical systems. Removal of existing asphalt/concrete pavement and concrete floor slab and construction of new airport pavement area. |
