| • Measure
the base or perimeter of your house (length and width) and add
the number together. Example: 30’ front + 30’ back
+ 50’ right side + 50’ left side = 160’.
• Multiply by the height Example: 160’ x
14 feet high = 2,240 square feet.
• Divide by 400 (one gallon of exterior paint
covers approximately 400 square feet) Example: 2,240 square
feet divided by 400’ = 5.6 or 6 gallons o exterior paint.
• Add paint for other exterior areas such as gables,
soffits, and foundations. |
