supporting.
Explosive and toxic gases (hydrogen sulfide and carbon
monoxide are two of the most common toxic gases found
in confined spaces) and a lack of oxygen cause the majority
of confined space injuries and fatalities. More that
60% of the fatalities occur among would-be rescuers
of initial victims.
