Wiring New Thermostat
I'm replacing my older White-Rodgers thermostat with one of their newer ones and need to clarify the old terminal hook-up to the new one.
Old Thermostat Wires:
Orange to O
Yellow to Y1 that has a jumper to W1
Blue to C
Green to G
Red to R
White to W2 that has jumper to W1
Proposed Wire Hook-up to the new 1F85-275:
B:No wire
Orange to O
Green to G
Yellow to Y1
Y2:No wire
White to W2 with a jumper to E/W1
Red to R
Blue to C
L:No wire
Is my wiring for the new thermostat correct?
A terminal description of both thermostats can be provided, if needed.

Re: Wiring New Thermostat
What type of unit is this? Heat pump? Gas/electric combination? Split unit?

Re: Wiring New Thermostat
The unit is a roof mounted Trine Single Stage Compressor Heat Pump with emergency electric backup heat.
