Sweating Ductwork - Whole House
We recently replaced our A/C - compressor and air handler. We now have a performance series 2 1/2 ton SEER 13 Carrier Air Compressor, Puron, with a variable speed air handler and new Carrier Thermidstat. We have a 3 level, end unit townhouse, the basement is below ground. The thermidstat is on the main level. All of the ductwork that we can see, is sweating, sometimes dripping. We have seen some ducts in the walls because we replaced the exhaust vent in a bathroom. We are smelling far more mold than ever and are worried about the water dripping on everything in the walls and ceilings as the ducts sweat. What should we do?
