Radiant floor Homes
Starting to get trendy around here. Now that the technology is getting better we're seeing a lot more of these homes. They just come in and pour the foundation, black plastic, pink foam insulation, set their tubing and all other plumbing rough ins, pour their concrete, stamp per their design, and then frame it up.

I'm eager to get to do some hardwood in them. Some have tile, some have a combination of tile, carpet, hardwood, and even stamped concrete in some areas. These are mostly custom homes but I can see the spec home builders doing a few for a change in scenery.

I am have been thinking of doing something similar. Changing out the baseboard heat in my house for a hydronic system. Probably not radiant heat, I'll save that for when I build.
