Peeling paint
I am trying to peel paint off of plaster that has been there since like 1940.
What a pain!!!! any ideas how to make it easier? We thought about just blue boarding over it, but there is a bow in the wall. Any ideas???

Re: Peeling paint
Remove the plaster from the 'bowed' part, - - shim as necessary, - - then float your new rock right over everything.

Knock off all the old plaster and lath. It won't take very long, and you'll get a nice new wall out of the bargain.
