No water to shower

I have a price-pfister (22078) 3 handle shower.
When I turn the handle to divert the water to the shower the water stops. Sometimes the water will come out of the head but shortly it stops again. Do I have to replace the whole unit?

No, you have some rust and calcium debrie which needs to be cleaned out. Most of the shower heads have a water saver which will clog easily due o the pin holes of the water saver.
