Kitchen curtain length
I have a double window in my kitchen facing the backyard and would like to hang floor length curtains. Is this acceptable for the kitchen?

Re: Kitchen curtain length
I’ve never heard that you can't. But I don't know that I’ve seen it. Most people use more casual treatments in kitchens, such as valances or maybe a swag over blinds or shades or shutters. I think shorter treatments are usually more practical for kitchens, as long draperies would be annoying to mop around if the floor is vinyl. And they'd have to be washable if they'll be near the dining table.

If you don't have babies or small kids flinging food around, don't mind moving the draperies out of the way to mop and have a kitchen that's a little more on the formal/nice side, then go for it.
