HVAC
HVAC - Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning

this started happening at the end of last summer, i am not sure which a/c i have, but i have a carrier furnace system and a manual thermostat. the problem is everytime i set the thermostat to cool it the furnace board fuse will burn out. i have no problems with switching to off or heat.
and the fuse doesnt take a while to burn, it burns instantly. i am thinking it would be electrical, but since i dont know anything about wiring and which wire is for a/c, i am not able to tell if the wiring is loose or cut.
if any further information is required please let me know

Re: HVAC
You problem lies in a short in the cooling section of your wiring.
Remove your thermostat and make sure you do not have any wires touching on the ac side of the thermostat.
The cooling wire usually will be black or yellow ,Dependending. Also make sure that it is not shorting out in the wall. You will have to ohm out the wires
