Cure Time for Basement Slab
I just poured a basement / garage floor for my new home. The concrete is average 4" thick and the mix was 3000 psi with fiber. Due to the cold weather, they mixed it with hot water and added lubricant (I think it takes the place of calcium due to the wire mesh holding my radiant floor tubing). This basement area backs up to a crawlspace area. Due to the over dig for the basement I need to backfill on the back side of the basement wall. The only way to get to it is to drive a Bobcat
(about 6500 #'s empty) across the concrete and dump over the back wall. I plan on laying 3/4 plywood over the concrete for the loader to drive on. The temp's have been in the mid 20's at night and around 50 during the day. I am stuck until I get this backfilled. Any ideas how long I should wait until I put the loader on the concrete. Thanks for your help.
