Boiler not getting water
Hello,
I work in a hotel and our #1 boiler is not getting water. In the morning when i arrived the tank was almost empty and it would not fire. I un-hooked all the pressure steam lines and blew them out. I noticed the tank had filled with water and hooked the lines back up. The boiler fired up and ran for about 8 minutes. The water pressure began to drop until the boiler shut down due to low water. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to say them. If you need more info just ask. Thank you for your time. TAG

Re: Boiler not getting water
You need a profession dude out on a boiler. When there is no water coming in, then the problem is the source (main water line) on some boilers if you have a leak in the system then the steam dissipates the water really fast. I'm just giving you example of the problems your up against. So call the plumber.
