 Formed in early 2004 Mark Weirich Architect, Inc. is a full service architectural facility; from design to construction documents, planning, consulting, site analysis and feasibility reports. Since that time, the firm has been primarily involved with high end residential design and construction. Much of the work has been in the rapidly developing area of Big Sky, Montana. Including Moonlight Basin, Spanish Peaks and the Yellowstone Club. Other projects are located near Bozeman in the Gallatin Valley, Paradise Valley, and the Yellowstone Valley, located South of Livingston, MT. The largest scale residence to date has been constructed in the Utah Valley in Alpine, UT. Typical materials integrated into Mark's designs include, but are not limited to: timber frame, log, stone, hand hewn logs, barnwood, circular and bandsawn boards, plaster, stucco, rusty tin, corrugated metal, slate, cedar shingles, brick and mossy rock. These materials are beautifully combined through the design process to create incredible cabins, barns, ski chalets, homesteads and ranch compounds.
